2011 Volunteer Reception
On Wednesday, June 15, Women In Need celebrated its volunteer program with the Annual Volunteer Reception. Volunteers throughout the organization mingled and enjoyed refreshments before watching a presentation featuring "The Year in Pictures" and announcements of WIN’s Corporate Partner and Susanne Pincus Commit to WIN Awards.
WIN Volunteers are awarded the Above and Beyond Award
Information for Families, Inc. (IFF), publisher of the newsletter “HOW…WHEN…WHERE” presented the Above and Beyond Awards on October 7th to staff workers and volunteers who gave valuable time and talent to improve the lives of homeless families.

2009 Volunteer Reception
Women In Need celebrated the service of over 300 WIN volunteers at the Annual Volunteer Recognition Reception on June 8th, 2009 at Baruch College.
Volunteers and staff mingled over appetizers and refreshments before gathering to reminisce over a slide show of past volunteer events.
