Our Services

services imgThe families that come to WIN need more than just a place to stay.  Some of the women are survivors of domestic abuse, others have alcohol and substance abuse problems, many are trying to complete their education or develop job skills.  And almost all are in desperate need of childcare services in order for them to go on job interviews, search for permanent housing or go to work.

Many WIN clients have never had the chance to develop skills for living positive lives. Managing money, dealing with landlords, navigating the health care and public benefits bureaucracies - these activities can be overwhelming. WIN teaches women specific skills to help them live independently: financial literacy, job readiness and anger management, as well as developing community support systems.

WIN provides services to address these needs but does so with the intent to give our clients the tools to become self-sufficient, ultimately enabling them to return to the community and live independently.
