Women In Need would like to thank this year’s sponsors for their participation in our 2011 Holiday Gift Program.  Your generous donation of toys and clothing for over 1400 children in our shelters and supportive programs was greatly appreciated.  Your contribution made the holidays an enjoyable experience for the children and eased the financial stress of their parents. What a wonderful way to celebrate the generosity of the season!

Spotlight on AREW

Our friends at AREW really outdid themselves this year!  They sponsored over 200 children in the Holiday Gift Program and hosted a wonderful party for our SHINE clients in the Bronx.  The party was a huge success with the help of our faithful Santa, Mark Reay.  But AREW went beyond all of that and presented WIN with a gift of two hand trucks in memory of our beloved Beverly Brewster.  These hand trucks came in very handy as we received all sorts of generous donations from the community throughout December.  What a thoughtful gift!  As always, we are grateful for the continued support of AREW and look forward to more parties and fun in 2012!
