Alternative Spring Breaks at WIN

This March, WIN was a very popular place to spend Spring Break. Four groups of college students came to New York during their time off to give back by working for WIN.  Students from the University of Maine, Michigan State University, Northwestern University, and our overseas volunteers from the Hellebak Friskole in Denmark were all on hand to sweep, file, sort, and clean while learning about social issues in NYC.  They also participated in the after-school programs and other client events.  Their energy and optimism were refreshing and contagious!
