Message from Bonnie Stone, President and CEO

We were delighted that our Annual Gala was such a success, particularly during this difficult year. However, the challenges we now face are greater than ever. In 2009, Women In Need will offer shelter and services to over 10,000 women and children. These families struggle, even in the best of times, and are now finding themselves in dire situations. As government funding cuts continue to increase our need to assist these families, we ask that all our supporters stay strongly committed to our mission and remember the enormous difference your help makes in the lives of so many women and their children. During this difficult time, please consider making an extra donation or forward this e-newsletter to a friend to introduce them to WIN and the important work we do. Now more than ever, your support is critical.
