We were delighted that our Annual Gala was such a success, particularly during this difficult year. However, the challenges we now face are greater than ever. In 2009, Women In Need will offer shelter and services to over 10,000 women and children. These families struggle, even in the best of times, and are now finding themselves in dire situations. As government funding cuts continue to increase our need to assist these families, we ask that all our supporters stay strongly committed to our mission and remember the enormous difference your help makes in the lives of so many women and their children. ANNUAL DINNER GALA WAS A HUGE SUCCESS!

On April 28th 2009, Women In Need celebrated its 13th “Commit to WIN” dinner. Some 650 guests gathered at The Pierre Hotel to honor Pamela Fiori, Editor-in-Chief of Town&Country magazine, who received the "Commit to WIN" Award, presented by Fashion Designer, Tory Burch. The evening, which was hosted by newswoman Lynn Sherr, raised over $1M through table and journal sales, and the popular “WIN Balloon Challenge.” Read More
