Message from Bonnie Stone, President and CEO

Today, we are serving more homeless families than ever and expect these numbers to increase in the coming months. Due to cuts in public and private funding, we are serving these clients with fewer resources and staff. The economic recession has left our families extremely vulnerable, with little to weather these tough times. We urge our WIN Family – our donors, corporate and community partners, and volunteers - to continue their generosity and to help our families move from shelter to independent lives in the community. Now more than ever, your support means a great deal to us.

MOTHER'S DAY IS MAY 10TH!

On Mother's Day 2009, more than 2,400 homeless people will sleep in WIN's shelters. More than half will be children. The current economic recession has left these vulnerable women and children with few resources to weather difficult times.

This Mother's Day, when family and friends express their appreciation with cards and gifts, we ask that you send your mother, grandmother, aunt, or special friend a gift from the heart. Donate Online
