We are pleased that our annual Camp WIN summer program was a success particularly during a time of economic uncertainty when homeless children are even more vulnerable. Children from our shelters enjoyed several weeks of fun, education and sharing experiences. This summer a record number of families entered the NYC city shelter system, and as we look towards the year ahead, despite funding and staffing cutbacks, our goals remain the same: to provide housing, help and hope to homeless and disadvantaged families throughout our community.
In 2009 WIN will offer shelter and services to more than 10,000 women and children. Your support is critical to their success. You can help by making a donation, volunteering or introducing your friends and family to WIN. Whatever your choice, we value your commitment to helping the women and children we serve make a better life for themselves.
