The Associates Committee

 

Associates Committee of Women In Need are a group of young professionals dedicated to giving back to the community. Their main goal is to support WIN’s initiatives through hands-on projects as well as fundraising. 

 

Each year, the committee concentrates on organizing and/or supporting the following events for our families: Halloween Party, Secret Santa, March of Giving, and their Annual June Fundraiser.

 

Beyond the events and initiatives noted above, they are also dedicated to helping WIN provide the best and most complete support to our clients.  As part of that mission, they take on other hands-on projects as they arise.  In the past, they have set up workshops to assist with resume writing and job interviewing skills, craft projects, etc.  Currently, they're in the process of setting up a storyhour reading program at one of our shelters.
