and Substance Abuse Treatment
Women
In Need's two New York State OASAS-Certified treatment centers are
unique outpatient substance abuse programs holistically designed
to meet the needs of women. On-site child care, provided transportation,
and furnished meals (breakfast and lunch), allow clients to focus
on treatment and recovery. The centers offer a wide range of individual,
group and family services to help women achieve abstinence, improve
quality of life and enhance client capabilities for self-sufficiency
and productivity.
Services
are offered Monday through Friday and include women's group treatment,
medical and psychiatric services, sober recreational activities,
education and employment services, HIV/AIDS prevention and education,
and acupuncture detox treatment.
